Students grow a “CANU” approach to learning—showing confidence, consistent effort, and the ability to make meaningful connections across English, math, reading, and literacy in every subject. Our “Filling In Gaps to Meet the Standards” session (F.I.G.2Standards) is our trademark experience, where students explore what the standards mean, why they matter, and how they connect to real learning through guided discussion.

We help students improve their English skills through speaking, listening, reading, and writing support.

We help students understand math concepts and boost their confidence with personalized hands-on lessons and practice.

We guide students in building reading foundations, from Phonological Awarness to improving vocabulary and comprehension.

We partner with local charities and nonprofit organizations to provide back-to-school supplies and sustainable, year-round enrichment programs. Our programs emphasize literacy, Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM), healthy meals, and leadership development for students in underserved communities.

Our Social-Emotional Learning program is integrated into our academic and enrichment services because we know that students learn best when they feel safe, connected, and confident. By strengthening social and emotional skills, we help students become compassionate leaders, lifelong learners, and productive members of their communities.
At CANU Learning Labs, we offer interactive small‑group sessions for 2–4 students, built around real‑world topics that strengthen skills, deepen understanding, and make learning relevant. Did you know if you increase a student’s behaviors around “I can confidence” you can produce specific outcomes? Self efficacy is a discipline I am passionate about! Meaning and Metacognition(think about what your thinking about!) is everything! If you believe you can, then why Can’t YOU?
Often the only thing missing is time with the material and background knowledge!
